Tone Fink

Over the years he developed a wide, multi facetted oeuvre covering drawings, objects, works on canvas, short movies (video), life performances up to installations; drawing staying as his general theme per se. Those drawings, as he creates them, in a spontaneous and often unplanned manner, emerge straight forward and intuitive. They represent his creative urge and are expression of his way of brainstorming for the execution of performances and objects he builds.
Those drawings, full of humour and irony, provide its beholders a deep insight into the personal universe of an artist who seems overflowing with energy and whose exuberant creativity and imagination is also expressed in his love for puns and neologisms.
Born at Schwarzenberg, Vorarlberg, he lives now and works in Vienna and also runs an atelier/ art forum at Schattendorf (Bgld.,A)
Numerous awards and prizes - selection therof:
Municipality of Vienna - fine arts |  government of  Vorarlberg - general arts (drawings, paintings, objects and movies) .
