With the aim of providing a platform for young, undiscovered/unestablished art, Gallery Ulrike Hrobsky has been running a space in the 16th district in the increasingly culturally active (SOHO at Ottakring, Grundstein festival, ...) located at the socalled "Brunnenviertel" ("fountains quarter") since 2002.
Special emphasis is set on the promotion of current positions in the fields of painting, drawing and on the occasion of the socalled "Month of Photography" regarding contemporary photography.
In 2005, together with various european galleries,the EAP (European Art Project) gwas founded as an exchange-program for young art and has since sucsessfully sent young austrian artists to exhibitions around europe and vice versa european talents to Austria.
